Dennis Rainey: The computer is romantic to him? I've found that men and women often view romance through different lenses. If you ask a group of men what they consider romantic, you'll likely get answers that focus on physical intimacy, such as a nice night gown for their wife.

If you ask a group of women what they consider romantic, what kind of responses are you likely to hear? "Spend time talking to me." "Sit in front of a fire and cuddle."

Generally, men tend to be motivated by sight and touch, while women want to focus on the relational aspects of the marriage relationship.

One final thought. Take a moment and ask your mate, "What do you find romantic? How can I make you feel special?" But don't stop there. Why don't you consider following through. And make your spouse's romantic wishes a reality.
